FATAL CRASH -- A Brooten teenager is dead after a two-car crash south of Brooten. Happened Wednesday afternoon at an intersection. Emergency crews found a 16-year-old girl dead at the scene -- and two men, seriously hurt. No names released yet.

 

TEEN ROLLOVER -- A Sauk Centre teenager went off the road and rolled his vehicle this morning in Greenwald. 15-year-old Carter Braun, taken to Melrose Hospital.

 

LIQUOR STORE COMPLIANCE CHECK -- For the fourth time in a 24-month period, the St. Augusta Mini-Serv has failed a liquor license compliance check. On July 5th, the city council could fine the store $2,000, suspend their license for up to two months or take away their ability to sell liquor, completely.

 

COURTHOUSE SECURITY -- The State Supreme Court is beefing up security at 57 county courthouses across the state. A million dollars in grant money will be used to address things like security screening, bullet-resistant glass and security training.

 

ROCK THE PARK -- Little Falls is celebrating summer with "Rock the Park" in Maple Island Park. Local musicians, food trucks, art, beer and wine -- all on the banks of the Mississippi tonight.

 

BELLAMY BROTHERS -- Get your country on tonight with the Bellamy Brothers, playing at Rollies Rednecks and Longnecks.

 

MILLE LACS - BASS FISHING -- And BassMaster Magazine has named Lake Mille Lacs as the number one American lake for bass fishing. The lake will again host this fall's Toyota Bassmaster Angler of the Year Championship. Last year's event brought more than $3-million dollars into the area's economy.
