UPDATE: Planned Protest Moved Away from VFW Post 428

ST. CLOUD - A rally planned for tomorrow (Saturday) near the VFW Post 428, along Division Street, in St. Cloud has been moved. Organizer Jane Conrad says it's now going to be held at noon at the Stearns County Courthouse instead.

I think it would be more secure and safer not to be in front of the VFW. And, our message is very clear, we are against people coming into our community and spreading hate and fear and division within our community. We are not against our vets or troops, we support them 100 percent.

Conrad, and her supporters, were concerned about a discussion led by anti-refugee speaker Bob Enos, which was held on Tuesday night at the VFW.

Conrad says the purpose of Saturday's "Freedom Rally" is to show that St. Cloud is a welcoming place for immigrants and refugees.
