Two Suspected Drug Dealers Arrested After Early Morning Raids
ST. CLOUD -- The Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force used two search warrants early Friday morning to arrest two suspected drug dealers in St. Cloud.
SWAT teams from Stearns-Benton County Sheriff Offices and the St. Cloud Police Department were used because of a high risk of guns at the locations.
The first warrant was served at an apartment unit at 344 33rd Avenue North. Police say they found a loaded handgun, cash, crack cocaine, powdered cocaine, heroin and prescription pills.
Twenty-four-year-old Robert Leake of St. Cloud was arrested on several charges including drug possession, possession with intent to sell and being a felon in possession of a handgun.
The second warrant was served at 731 12th Avenue South. Police say they found heroin and cash at that location and arrested 23-year-old Jesse Drum of St. Cloud.
Drum faces drug possession and drug sale charges.
Police say the warrants were based off previous undercover drug buys from those addresses.
