Two People Hurt In Crash With Semi On Highway 23

COLD SPRING - Two people were hurt in a crash on Highway 23 in Cold Spring. The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened at about 9:15 p.m. Monday night.

A truck driven by 35-year-old Nathan Verch of Spicer was going west when it crossed into oncoming traffic and sideswiped a semi and trailer.

Verch and his passenger, 35-year-old Claire Verch of Spicer, were both taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the semi, 46-year-old Rodney Winter of Murdock, was not hurt.
