ST. CLOUD - Two people have been arrested by the St. Cloud SWAT team for allegedly having an illegal handgun.

The SWAT team used a search warrant just after 8:00 p.m. in the 100 block of 20th Avenue North. During the search, a loaded handgun was found that had the serial number removed.

Police arrested 18-year-old Antonio McKnight of St. Cloud and a 17-year-old boy from St. Cloud. McKnight was currently on probation through Stearns County for multiple prior offenses.

He was taken to the Stearns County Jail to face charges of felony possession of a firearm with a removed serial number, unlawful possession of a firearm, and multiple arrest warrants. The 17-year-old boy was also taken to the Stearns County Jail to face a prior warrant for robbery.

St. Cloud Police are continuing to aggressively look for and arrest those who have or use illegal guns.
