Three FREE Family-Friendly Things To Do This Week In Central Minnesota
The temperature is rapidly dropping in Central Minnesota... but that doesn't mean your bank account needs to follow suit! Here are three free family-friendly events this week in the area.
WATERS CHURCH SARTELL - WALK-THROUGH CHRISTMAS
December 4th-8th
Although tickets usually are snatched up instantly, walk-ups are encouraged and generally are able to get in pretty quickly!
In years past, the show has begun with an introductory reading of the beginning of the Grinch. The tour continues to Whoville, where guests are greeted with songs and cookies. There are both indoor and outdoor sets throughout the woods... and they are very well done and elaborate!
Soon we run into the Grinch, who is very animated and, frankly, hilarious. He interacts with the crowd and puts on quite the show with an impressive costume and makeup.
After the show, folks can warm up near a bonfire and grab dinner from a food truck. You can even meet the Grinch!

JOETOWN WINTER WALK FESTIVAL

"WinterWalk will feature plenty of food, fun, and chances to give back. Obbink Distilling will sell non-alcoholic homemade Egg Nog and Spiced Hot Chocolate from their tent on Minnesota Street, in addition to their free Hot Cocoa (while supplies last). Uptown Styles and Bad Habit Brewing Co. will host Giving Trees sponsored by the Jaycees, offering an opportunity to support local families in need."
