ST. CLOUD -- Nearly 8,000 sports fans will be in the St. Cloud area this weekend, cheering on their favorite youth basketball teams.

Jim Parsons is the Tournament Director for the 22nd Annual St. Cloud Area Youth Basketball Association Quarry Classic Tournament.  He says the tourney will have local cash registers ringing.

Parsons says you should expect long lines at most restaurants tonight (Friday) and tomorrow night.

And, as for the tournmanet, Parsons says the 226 teams will be using 21 courts throughout the metro area.

The tournament features boys and girls teams in grades 4 through 8.
