RICHMOND (WJON News) -- Cold Spring, Richmond, and Rockville residents can get to know local businesses better this weekend. Saturday is the Rocori Area Expo at the River Lakes Civic Arena in Richmond.

The event will have over 65 local businesses on hand for people to visit, plus a fashion show, axe throwing, a gift card giveaway, and more. Chamber of Commerce President Zach Studanski says there are kids activities too:

"Oh yes, so we've got Boy Scouts building, doing some bird houses I think, we've got the bakery's going to be doing some cookie decorating, we've got some bounce houses so yeah definitely plenty for kids to do as well as adults."

Studanski says there will be a robotics demonstration, carnival games, and plenty to eat and drink as well with Shaddy's Longshots catering the event. The Rocori Area Expo runs from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
