SARTELL -- Plans for the future Sartell Community Center continued to be discussed among city officials.

During this (Monday) evenings city council meeting, the board looked at what amenities they want to bring in and cost estimates to build the facility.

Amenities discussed to this point include a library, community/senior space, recreational space, and an outdoor pool.

The council is also looking at a total cost for the project around $11-million dollars, up from their initial $10-million discussed in June.

To keep up with their timeline, the council would need to review design schematics and cost and hear public input by October.

Back in August, the council voted 3-2 on the Ferche Town Square location (next to Chateau Waters) as the future home of the community center.

The city would like to begin construction on the community center next Spring or Summer
