COLD SPRING -- The ROCORI School District will soon have two new principals. At the board meeting Monday night, the school board approved offers of employment to Sam Court, and Mary Holmberg.

Superintendent Scott Staska says, they're replacing a long standing principal of two schools

"Shelly Muth, who's been here for 24 years as a principal, has retired as of this spring. She'll work work through the end of June and then she retires."

Muth has been the Principal of John Clark and Richmond Elementary Schools, and those will now become two separate positions.

Staska says, the process get's easier after the board approval.

"From tonight we go back to the candidates and tell them the board has approved their employment, and then we as a board need to hammer out the details of their positions with the principal group."

Court will take over at John Clark Elementary, and Holmberg at Richmond Elementary. Staska says both come with high recommendations and years of experience.
