Rice Man Arrested After Camera Found in Bathroom

ST. CLOUD - A 24-year-old Rice man has been arrested for allegedly putting a camera in a public bathroom.

Joshua Lavalle is accused of setting up the video camera in a bathroom in St. Cloud on November 25th.

Police say the incident happened at the Crossroads Shopping Center in a common area, not specific to a particular store.

The camera was found in a unisex bathroom and police say mall security has taken precautions to prevent a similar situation from happening.

Police haven't released how many victims there, how the camera was discovered or how it was placed in the restroom.  More information may be released at a later time.

Lavalle was arrested Monday afternoon in Rice. He's being held in the Stearns County Jail, and could be charged with a felony.
