Spotlight: Pioneer Place On Fifth Announces Fall Lineup

ST. CLOUD (WJON News) -- The Pioneer Place On Fifth is getting ready for another full season of entertainment.

Live shows begin Thursday, September 10th and Friday, September 11th with Lakes Area Theater's production of "Dear Jack, Dear Louise". It's based on a true story that brings to life the real letters exchanged during World War II between two strangers.

Pioneer Place owner Ray Herrington says the first live band will take the stage on Saturday, September 12th. Expedition will have a tribute to the music of Journey, Kansas, Foreigner, and Styx.

They've been here a few times. I know they've done Lake George a few times. Tickets have sold really well.

Herrington says Reminiscing's show on Saturday, September 19th will feature songs from 1975 to 1979.

They put on a great show. This group is so talented. I was kind of skeptical the first time they came, but oh my gosh, it's a really good show. Tons of fun with great big hits from the late 70s.

The Pioneer Place on Fifth has its schedule through the Christmas holiday season posted on the website. Herrington says they are still working out the details with some bands, so more performances will be added to the fall and winter schedule in the coming weeks.

Herrington says the Fabulous Armadillos will bring their concert series back again this season. Season tickets for those shows are on sale now.

And KVSC's Granite City Radio Theater will also be back with a series of shows this season.
