Pine Grove Zoo Goes Wild With Annual Fundraiser On Friday

LITTLE FALLS (WJON News) -- You can have a fun night out while supporting a Central Minnesota Zoo on Friday night. Pine Grove Zoo is having its 15th Annual Zoo Gone Wild! fundraising event at the Falls Ballroom. Zoo Gone Wild! will feature a social hour and then entertainment from Deuces Wild! Dueling Piano Show.

Zoo Director Marnita Van Hoecke says they also have a surprise each year:

"And for the length of one song somewhere in the middle of the night we raise money for a new animal and that animal is the first to be spoken of that evening so we kind of leave that as the unveiling for the new animal if you will."

Van Hoecke says people will laugh till they cry at the interactive show with Deuces Wild! and they are lucky to have them back this year. She says it has been an incredible run:

"We are so excited, never did we think that we would be going for 15 years with this amazing event but if it's not broke then let's not fix it right."

Tickets are $60 and include a one-day pass to the zoo for the year.

The social hour goes from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. with the Deuces Wild! show taking place from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
