An Vo is a partner and manager of the bistro. He says they plan to be one of the first in St. Cloud to offer Boba Tea.

Boba is a drink that’s originally from Taiwan that has gained popularity in the last decade or so. It's milk tea and then there's tapioca pearls in there. So it's a drink and then there's jelly pearls, those are called toppings.

Specialties include passion fruit, mango, and jasmine teas, with many more flavors to try. Mie Bistro & Boba will focus on a menu that emphasizes convenience with dishes designed for easy take-out for busy professionals.

Mustafa Younus is the partner and General Manager of the restaurant. After years of managing traditional fast-food restaurants, Younus is excited to bring the flavors of Mediterranean street food to the area.

We do feel like there is a need for a little bit more Middle Eastern spices in (the area). Because there aren't that many and we want to bring that Middle Eastern experience to the St. Cloud area.

The bistro will be primarily a quick-service eatery, designed with a busy professional’s lunchtime in mind. While there will be limited seating, most of the orders will be easily carried back to the office or delivered through food delivery services.

The Mie Bistro & Boba plans to hold a Grand Opening later this summer.
