Muriel Caroline Anderson, 93, Princeton, formerly of Aitkin

February 2, 1922 - June 4, 2015

Muriel Caroline Anderson, age 93, of Princeton, formerly of Aitkin, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 4, 2015. She was born on February 2, 1922 in North St. Paul, the daughter of Ernest and Anna (Kruse) Fuhs.

Muriel was united in marriage to Lester Anderson and the couple was blessed with two children. She worked as a home health aide for many years when she lived in Aitkin, and also worked for Cornelius Manufacturing as an assembly line brazer. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and enjoyed her bible study group and cancer survivor group. Muriel loved fishing, crocheting, cake decorating, traveling, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Muriel is survived by her children, Carol (Wallace) Shepard and Paul (Pennie) Anderson; grandchildren, Sadie (Tom) Wells, Lessie (Lorin) Stephenson, Angie (Pompa) Crespo, Erick Shepard, Toni Anderson and Michael Anderson; great grandchildren, Alexis, Olivia, Caitlyn, Lilliah, Brianna, Bryce and Emily; along with many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband Lester and granddaughter Stacy Shepard.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, June 10 at God's Greater Glory Parish, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Princeton. A Visitation will be held from 11AM-12PM prior to the service.
