Minimal Damage in North St. Cloud Apartment Fire

ST. CLOUD - The damage was kept to a minimum in a North St. Cloud apartment fire.

Fire crews were called to 427 33rd Street North at about 10:30 p.m. last (Monday) night.

A fire started in the ventilation fan above the laundry room.  The fire was contained to the ceiling, and caused about $5,000 in damage.

Firefighters were on the scene for about an hour.  The residents were allowed to return to their apartments.
