Metro Bus Executive Director Search Taking Shape

ST. CLOUD -- The search process for a new Executive Director at Metro Bus continues. Outgoing director David Tripp says 15 candidates will now move on to the interview process. From there, Tripp says the field will be whittled down to about seven.

Meanwhile, Tripp will recommend to the board that he act as interim director. An executive committee made up of Tony Kellen, Tom Cruikshank and Arlene Worth will handle day-to-day operations. Tripp would then meet with that committee a few hours per week.

Tripp says they hope to have three finalists named in early May with a new Executive Director picked shortly afterward.
