Meeker County House Fire Causes Heavy Damage

WATKINS - A house fire in Watkins caused heavy damage on Tuesday.

Meeker County Sheriff Brian Cruze says authorities were called around 2:45 p.m. to a house fire in Watkins on the 600 block of of Veterans drive.

Cruze says Betrina Sturges heard the smoke alarm, found the fire and called for help. The fire is believed to be electrical.

No one was hurt from the fire.
