Marcella A. Schill, 94, St. Augusta

October 21, 1920 - March 2, 2015

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 5, 2015 at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in St. Augusta for Marcella A. Schill, 94, of St. Augusta, who died Monday, March 2, 2015 at St. Benedict’s Center in St. Cloud. Rev. Jose Edayadiyil will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends and relatives may call from 4:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 and one hour prior to services on Thursday at the church in St. Augusta. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, St. Cloud.

Marcella was born on October 21, 1920 in Pearl Lake to Hubert and Rose (Schaefer) Schneider. She married George J. Schill on August 28, 1943 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waite Park. Marcella is a member of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church and St. Ann’s Christian Women. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, canning, making Rag Rugs, and decorating cakes. She will be dearly missed.

Marcella is survived by her children, Noreen (Lawrence) Ergen of Clearwater, Gerald (Mary) Schill of Waite Park, Georgiana “Jean” (Joseph) Reiter of St. Augusta, Nancy Meyer of St. Augusta, George Jr. (JoAnn) of Clearwater; siblings, Harold of Waite Park, David of Holdingford, Laverne Hommerding of St. Cloud; 18 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George in 2008; son-in-law, Peter Meyer; siblings, Agnes Libbesmeier, Leona Donabauer, Victor Schneider, Elizabeth Rosha, and Edward Schneider.
