ELK RIVER - A Monticello man has been arrested and will be charged in the deaths of two motorcyclists in April.

According to Sherburne County Sheriff Joel Brott, 19 year old Cody Moen was arrested and taken to Sherburne County Jail yesterday for Criminal Vehicular Homicide.

Moen's reckless driving is believed to have led to the crash that killed motorcycle driver Brien Wickham and passenger Jacquelyn Lee on County Road 17 in Big Lake in April.

Wickham died at the scene of the accident, while Lee died later due to injuries.

Investigators say witness reports, accident reconstruction and an inspection of Moen's vehicle led to the determination that Moen was driving the vehicle in a grossly negligent manner.

He was arrested without incident and remains in Sherburne County Jail pending arraignment.
