
Rochester Man Faces 10 Felony Tax Evasion Charges
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man is facing 10 felony charges involving tax evasion allegations.
Filing Fraudulent or False Tax Returns
The Minnesota Department of Revenue says the Olmsted County Attorney's Office recently filed a criminal complaint against Christian Quinonez. He faces two counts of filing false or fraudulent individual income tax returns, three felony counts of failing to file individual income tax returns, and five counts of failing to pay income tax.

Unreported Income
A news release issued by the state agency says Quinonez is accused of not reporting business income from two drywall businesses for tax years 2019 and 2020. He is also charged with failing to file income tax returns for tax years 2021 through 2023 and failing to pay income tax for 2019 through 2023.

Allegedly Owes $200K
According to the criminal complaint, investigators examined banking transactions, loan applications, gambling wagers, as well as contractor deposits from the Rochester man's drywall businesses. The Revenue Department says the investigation determined that he allegedly owes more than $200,000 in state income taxes.
