Farmington Police Arrest Four Adults for Hit and Run Death of 13-Year-Old Apple Valley Boy
Farmington, MN (MinnesotaNow)- Authorities have announced four arrests in connection with the hit and run death of a Twin Cities area teen.

13-year-old Sasha Balandin died on the night of July 14 when he was struck by a vehicle while biking across a road in Farmington.
Preliminary information released by Farmington police at the time indicated Baladine was hit by a westbound vehicle on Hwy. 50 while he and another juvenile were traveling north on Dushane Pkwy.
Bystanders and first responders rendered aid to the young bicyclist but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A GoFundMe for Baladine says he left an “incredible impact” on everyone he met.
“He had the kindest, most compassionate heart. Sasha loved fishing and was always asking to go. He loved mountain biking, collecting old coins, Pokémon, and cooking- often surprising his family by making them something special. He dreamed of becoming a mechanic one day and hoped to live on a farm,” the fundraiser says.
Four Adults Arrested in Farmington Hit and Run Crash
Farmington police described the suspect vehicle as a black Ford Focus with front-end damage.
A news release issued by the Farmington Police Department on Thursday says the driver of the suspect vehicle, described as a 30-year-old man from Farmington, has been taken into custody on suspicion of criminal vehicular homicide and failing to stop at the scene of a traffic accident resulting in death.

Three other Farmington residents, described as a 28-year-old woman, 64-year-old woman and 36-year-old man, have also been arrested. Police say there were taken into custody on suspicion of aiding an offender.
