Want S’More? Local Campground Voted ‘MN Best’ In Several Categories

A local campground took home FOUR Minnesota's Best awards when they were announced this weekend. The St. Cloud Clearwater RV Park took home the gold for camping and three silvers in other categories for the 2024 MN Best Awards.

The awards are voted on by Minnesotans across the state, and the Star Tribune and Becker Furniture tally up the votes between the end of voting in June and the unveiling in August of who has Minnesota's Best.

While the St. Cloud Clearwater RV Park took home gold in the camping category, it wasn't the only Central Minnesota campground to be awarded. The Ringler Family Campground in Brook Park, (The website inaccurately labeled their location as Brooklyn Park) received a bronze for camping!

Ringler's also won several other awards this year in the Minnesota's Best contest.

The Boundry Water Canoe Area Wilderness took second in the camping category, so both the St Cloud RV Park and Ringler's Family Campground are in pretty good company.

The St. Cloud Clearwater RV Park also won silvers in:

• Best Family Getaway
• Best Group Getaway
• Best Spring Destination

Ringler's Family Campground also won:

• Bronze Best Hotel and Lodging Customer Service
• Bronze Best Pet Friendly Hotel/Lodging
