It definitely doesn't feel like it but winter will be here before you know it! So far, even into early October, summer seems to be holding on.
We've seen upper 70s and even low 80s pretty consistently with no signs of that slowing down into the weekend. We are definitely spoiled in the weather department this year!

Of course, it will come to an end eventually. It will finally start feeling like fall at some point, with meteorologists pointing to mid-October. We still have a few weeks to go!
Fall is always way too short in the Northland because winter moves in and it looks like it will be a snowy one! One weather analyst is sharing his prediction on how much snow we will get in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Of course, everyone is curious when we will see our first major snowstorm of the season. It's something we are always panicking and waiting for. The Old Farmer's Almanac just released their November outlook, predicting the first snowstorm for our region in late November.

'Midwest Weather' Shares Snow Total Forecast For 2025-2026 Winter Season
This weather analyst has a huge following on social media and rightfully so. He is always forecasting for our region and is pretty spot-on. He recently took to social media to share his thoughts on how much snow we will see and if you don't like snow, you're in luck.

According to his post, we'll get an average amount of snow to even below average in some areas. He is forecasting about four to six feet of snow total. However, he is forecasting a bit more for the Duluth area, with up to ten feet.
We are used to being an outlier of sorts in Duluth because of Lake Superior. Some say bring it on and others aren't too happy. We will have to wait it out and see!
