Starbucks Closing Minnesota Locations – Duluth Included?
You may have seen the news: Minnesota is about to have a few less Starbucks stores, as the chain is closing a handful of locations in the state.
Like so many other businesses, Starbucks is restructuring the way they do things after recent financial struggles. They shared in late September that they would be laying people off and restructuring some things.

Like so many other businesses over the past few years, this new plan includes closing some underperforming stores or stores where the rent is high.
Unfortunately, this does include several stores in Minnesota. I have been to all of these Starbucks stores and some even recently.
Are Any Starbucks Locations Closing In Duluth, Minnesota?
At last check, it doesn't appear that any of our Starbucks locations are on the chopping block! I always go to the one by the station in downtown Duluth and it is always crazy busy, so that's not a huge surprise.

The other one I go to is the drive-thru located near Cub Foods and the line is always absolutely crazy, so that's also not too surprising. The one along Woodland Avenue is also super busy. There's a fourth location in the Duluth Target store.
At Least Seven Starbucks Stores Closing In Minnesota
So which stores are on the chopping block? That would include four different locations in Minneapolis, including one on Hennepin Avenue and Nicollet Avenue. This also includes a Roseville location.

The other store locations include one in St. Paul and another in Rochester. There has not been word on if more stores will close or exactly when they will close but we will stay on the beat. It is PSL season after all!
