ST. CLOUD- The St Cloud State mens basketball team got out to a quick start Friday but let an early lead slip away. The Huskies (14-8 overall and 10-3 in NSIC), fell to the Northern State Wolves (13-6 overall and 9-4 in NSIC).

SCSU made a few runs after letting an early lead get away from them, but Northern States' clutch free throw shooting kept the Huskies playing from behind.

The Huskies turned the ball over 18 times and were out rebounded 39-35. This was only the 4th time all season the Huskies have been out rebounded.

The Huskies were lead by red shirt Sophomore Gage Davis' 28 points five rebounds and two assists.

Up next for the Huskies is a tough trip to conference leader University of Minnesota-Moorhead. Tip off is tonight at 6:15.
