Hillman Man Killed When Vehicle Hits Icy Patch and Rolls

LASTRUP - A Hillman man has been killed in a rollover.

Sixty-eight year old Elmer Monson was heading east on Highway 27, near Lastrup, in Morrison County when he hit an icy patch. Monson's jeep left the road and rolled.

Monson was not wearing his seatbelt, and he was ejected from the vehicle.

The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened just after 8:00 p.m. last (Sunday) night.
