High School Football Recap 10/26

Here are the results from some of Saturday's high school football games:

Moorhead 30, Apollo 20-

The #1 seeded Apollo Eagles were stunned by the Moorhead Spuds 30-20 yesterday at Clemens Stadium. Apollo finishes the season with a 6-3 overall record. The Spuds will advance to challenge the Sartell Sabres.

Thief River Falls 44, Rocori 16-

The Rocori Spartans were defeated by the Thief River Falls Prowlers yesterday in Thief River Falls. The Spartans finish their season with a 2-7 record. The Prowlers will advance to take on Detroit Lakes on November 2nd.

Sartell 32, St. Cloud Tech 19-

The Sartell Sabres got a big upset win over the St. Cloud Tech Tigers at Clemens Stadium Saturday. The Sabres will advance to take on the #4 Moorhead Spuds, who are also coming off an upset win over the Apollo Eagles yesterday.

Cathedral 53, Mora 14-

The Crusaders trounced the Mustangs yesterday. Cathedral went into halftime with a 47-0 advantage and wouldn't look back. Cathedral will advance to take on the Pierz Pionners.

Foley 12, Pierz 23-

The Pierz Pioneers took down the Foley Falcons yesterday. Foley finishes the season with a 6-3 record.
