Here’s a Celebration in Waite Park You Don’t Want to Miss

Everybody loves a celebration, especially when it concerns a popular establishment in the community. That’s what’s coming up next weekend in Waite Park.

Backshed Brewing will be celebrating their 3rd anniversary on Saturday September 7th. From Noon to 10pm that Saturday, Backshed will be holding a day long opportunity to help them recognize this awesome feat. 

It’s tough for small, locally owned businesses these days, so to make it to a third birthday is pretty cool. 

From noon to eight pm, Heavenly Hog and Under the Hood Food Trucks will be on site to put the “eat” in “eat, drink and be merry”. So, make sure you show up hungry. Jupiter Moon Ice Cream will be on hand from Noon to 8pm as well for a sweet treat once you've had your main course. 

There will also be three special celebratory beers on hand which will include:

Barrel Aged Paunchy and Left Eye

Barrel Aged You Block Head Charlie on Nitro

Hazy Triple IPA 

One popular attraction will be the beanbag tournament. The action gets started at 12:30. There will be a $20 entry fee per team to play in this double elimination tournament. The top three teams will win cash prizes. This is a 100% cash payout to those teams. 

More details on registration will be featured on Backshed Brewing Facebook Page soon. Their hope is to hold the beanbag tournament outside, but if mother nature interferes, they have the space there to move inside.  

If your plan is to come out in the evening, you’ll be able to sit back and enjoy live music from Kat Blue.  

The celebration will spill over into Sunday September 8th, with the Backshed Brewing Anniversary Sip and Shop from Noon to Three.
