Fundraiser Set for New Central MN Safari Club

ST. CLOUD -- A group of hunters and conservationists are inviting you to their first official meeting and fundraiser next week.

The Central Minnesota Safari Club International is holding a social hour, silent auction and 50/50 raffle to help get the club off the ground.

Central Minnesota SCI President Doug Brown says they are similar to other conservation groups like Rocky Mountain Elk Chapter, Pheasants Forever or Ducks Unlimited.  he says the difference is 70% of their monies stay in the local community.

Brown says they are looking for new members and those that just want to come out and help through their fundraiser. It will be held at the Del Tone Luth Gun Club on Wednesday, January 4th starting at 5:00 p.m.
