Firefighters Want You to ‘Fill the Boot’ for MDA

ST. CLOUD - Members of the St. Cloud Fire Department are giving you the boot.  They've teamed-up with the Muscular Dystrophy Association again this year for their annual "Fill the Boot" campaign.

They're collecting donations:

Today (Thursday):  3:30 until 6:00 p.m.

Tomorrow (Friday): 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and again 3:30 until 6:30 p.m.

At the corner of 33rd Avenue North and Division Street.

The Fill the Boot campaign is in it's 58th year.  Last year St. Cloud fire fighters raised nearly $8,700.  Statewide firefighters collected over $256,000 in 2011.

All of the money collected stays in the local community helping area kids and adults fighting muscular dystrophy.
