EAGAN (AP) - A 16-year-old Minnesota boy has died following an early morning collision with a power pole.

The crash took place about 12:20 a.m. Sunday in Eagan.

Police say 16-year-old Max Lowell, of Inver Grove Heights, ran off the road, hit a pole and was thrown from the car.

Dakota Electric spokesman Joe Miller says the accident left about 600 customers without power for several hours.
