Driver Hurt In New London Rollover

NEW LONDON -- One person was hurt after a roll over in Kandiyohi County Tuesday morning.

The incident happened at about 8:30 a.m. on Highway 23 at 187th Avenue in New London Township.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 20-year-old Renny Nelson, of Anchorage Alaska, was heading east on Highway 23 when he lost control on the frost covered road, crossed the median and westbound lanes and rolled.

He was taken to Rice Memorial Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

His passenger, 19-year-old Deven Pekarek of St. Cloud. was not hurt.
