Central Minnesota Residents To Celebrate ‘National Night Out’
UNDATED -- Neighborhoods throughout St. Cloud will be celebrating the 31st annual National Night Out event Tuesday.
It's sponsored by the St. Cloud Police Department and the National Association of Town Watch to prevent crime and drug use.
From 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. residents throughout the St. Cloud area and across the country are encouraged to lock their doors and spend and evening outside with their neighbors and local law enforcement. Many neighborhoods will be hosting block parties, cookouts, contests, youth activities and anti-crime rallies.
St. Joseph is hosting a free outdoor movie event at Millstream park starting at 9:00 p.m. They will be showing the film "Free Birds." It's a family movie about two turkeys who team up to change the course of history and do away with the Thanksgiving menu.
You're encouraged to bring your own lawn chairs and blankets. Snacks and refreshments will be available to buy.
