Barbara Aman, 71, Oak Park

December 31, 1947 - November 16, 2019

Barbara Aman, age 71 of Oak Park, Minnesota passed away November 16, 2019 at the St. Cloud Hospital surrounded by her family after a short battle with lung cancer. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 AM, Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at St. John's Catholic Church in Foley. Rev. Michael Wolfbauer will officiate and burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, November 19th at the Foley Funeral Home and will continue from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at the church on Wednesday. Service with Dignity provided by the Foley Funeral Home.

Barbara Ann Aman was born December 31, 1947 in St. Cloud, MN to Chester and Sophie (Rozeski) Chapp. She graduated from Foley High School in 1965. She married Jim Aman on April 27, 1968 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Gilman. Barbara worked at Fingerhut and Gorecki Manufacturing as well as farmed with her husband and raised her family near Oak Park. She worked at Willmar Poultry for 25 years, retiring in 2011. Barbara was an active member of St. John's Catholic Church where she was a volunteer cleaner, collection counter, usher and a member of the Christian Women. She was a member of the Foley American Legion Auxiliary and was proud of the work she had done for the Poppy Drive. Barbara enjoyed cooking and baking, sewing and spending time outdoors. She cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Jim, Oak Park and daughters and son: Cyndi (Todd) Hartkopf, Becker; Cheryl (Marc) Kelash, Rice; Christine (Jerry) Brenny, Rice; Bryan (Gretchen), Oak Park; Carrie (Matt) Strombeck, Oak Park as well as 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, with one on the way and brothers and sister: Clarence, Oak Park, Carl (Donna), Oak Park and Bernadette (Jeff) Zulawski of Oak Park. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charles and many aunts and
