Arvilla T. Miller, 92, Paynesville

August 2, 1923 - November 26, 2015

Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Assumption Catholic Church in Eden Valley for Arvilla T. Miller, age 92, of Paynesville who passed away Thursday. Rev. Robert Rolfes will officiate and burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Eden Valley.

Arvilla was born August 2, 1923 to William and Josephine (Loch) Vossen in Watkins. On June 24, 1941 she married the love of her life Ellsworth Miller at St. Anthony’s in Watkins. Arvilla worked as a homemaker raising the couples two children. She also worked at 3M in Hutchinson for 18 years. Arvilla was a member of Assumption Catholic Church in Eden Valley as well as a member of the Mother Teresa Mission Group. She also was an avid quilter and enjoyed crocheting and sewing. Arvilla also found great joy in seeing her grandchildren and dancing.

Arvilla is survived by her son, Vince (Shirley) of Eden Valley; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Ellsworth; daughter, Pauline; siblings, Laura Neutz, Jeanette Jones, Reynold Vossen, Ervin Vossen, Marvin Vossen and infant sister.
