2 Hurt After Deer Runs in Front of Motorcycle in Todd County

TODD COUNTY - Two people were hurt after a deer jumped in front of their motorcycle on Tuesday.

The incident happened at about 9:00 p.m. on County Road 7 just West of Highway 10, in Fawn Lake Township.

Roddy Sams and his wife Janet crashed on the motorcycle after a deer came from the ditch and ran in front of the bike.

Roddy had minor injuries from the crash, Janet had serious injuries and was taken to St. Cloud Hospital. Both were wearing protective clothing and helmets at the time of the incident.
