There are several crazy things that people will put on pizza.  Or, it may be that I think they are crazy because I don't tend to be all that adventurous when it comes to my pizza toppings. Although, I do like the Hawaiian pizza - Canadian Bacon and Pineapple.  Super good!

Anyway, there is a pizzaria in Minnesota that specializes in unique pizza toppings.  The restaurant is Luce'.  And they do have several locations throughout Minnesota stretching from Duluth to Minneapolis/St Paul and several suburbs around the area.

At this time of year, they do have a special Fall Menu.  Among other fall type foods, there is a Butternut Squash pizza which sounds intriguing.  There are also several bowls that feature vegan and gluten free options.

The thing that has people talking right now is the return of the Gobbler Pizza.  This is a special Thanksgiving pizza that will only be available for the week of Thanksgiving.

Luce' has offered this pizza before and people loved it.  So, they are "Not going to fix what's not broken" and keep it the same way that it has been in the past.

According to Bring Me the News, this is what is involved with the Thanksgiving Pizza, the Gobbler.

The dough gets brushed with garlic butter before being layered with sliced turkey breast, mashed potatoes, mushrooms, stuffing, cheddar and mozzarella, and sliced green onion. It also comes with a side of cranberry sauce, which the shop recommends you put right on the pizza.

As with most of their other menu items, this will be available in a vegan and/or a gluten free option.  If you do want to check out this Thanksgiving Pizza, you do need to act quickly.  As mentioned above, it will only be available for the week of Thanksgiving.  Specifically November 21st through the 27th, which is the day before the Thanksgiving holiday.
