Woman Arrested After Hit and Run in St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD - A woman was arrested for a hit and run incident in St. Cloud on Friday morning.

Police arrested 31-year-old Danielle Bennett at about 2:23 a.m. during an investigation in the 1000 block of 7th Street Southeast.

Bennett was allegedly driving a vehicle that hit two parked cars before she left the scene.

One of the vehicles she hit was occupied by two people, 26-year-old Darren Steichen and a 28-year-old woman. Steichen was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Bennett was found and arrested. During a blood draw for DUI investigation at St. Cloud Hospital, Bennett allegedly attacked a hospital security guard. Bennett is facing charges of criminal vehicular operation, hit and run and DUI.
