WAITE PARK -- Viking Electric Supply is now ready to serve you.

The 25,000 square foot building held a ribbon cutting ceremony today (Tuesday) to dedicate the newly constructed facility.

Randy Artus is the Vice President of Sales for Viking Electric Supply. He says the company is looking forward to growing with the city.

"We're excited to be here and look forward to a long prosperous business relationship in the area," says Artus.

The new retail store and warehouse is located at 625 1st Avenue South in Waite Park, right behind the Home Depot.

Waite Park Mayor Rick Miller says it's great to see the area being developed after years of vacant lots.

"This area has been stagnate for a long time, Viking Electric realized the potiental here I think and this is a asset to the city of Waite Park," says Miller.

The company is in the business of making electrical supplies for contractors and has businesses in Brainerd and the Twin Cities.

Viking Electric broke ground on the site back in December. They officially opened for business yesterday (Monday).
