Viking Electric Breaks Ground on New Waite Park Site [AUDIO]

WAITE PARK -- Waite Park continues to be a growing community as the city broke ground on a new 25,000 square foot building.

Viking Electric Supply held a ground breaking ceremony this afternoon (Wednesday) on the site of their new retail store and warehouse.

Joel Taverna is the West Regional Operations Manager for Viking Electric. He says with growing community they felt this was the best location to expand.

Viking Electric will be located at 625 1st Avenue South in Waite Park, right behind the Home Depot.

The new warehouse will create about 11 jobs in the area.

Taverna says they hope to be open by May 1st.
