UPDATE: Glenwood Woman Killed in Two Vehicle Crash

GLENWOOD - The State Patrol has released the name of the woman killed in a two-vehicle crash in Pope County yesterday (Monday) morning.

Sixty-two-year-old Karen Simmons of Glenwood died when her vehicle was hit broadside.

The incident happened at about 7:45 a.m. yesterday at the intersection of Highway 29 and County Road 28, just north of Glenwood.

The driver of the other vehicle, 19-year-old Haley Klimek of Lowery, suffered minor injuries.
