ST. CLOUD - The Stearns County Attorney says a man arrested after an incident early Sunday morning outside of the Press Bar in downtown St. Cloud has been released from jail and has not been charged at this time. Twenty-year-old Patrick McNeely is employed as a bouncer at the bar.

Officers found a 21-year-old man lying unconscious on the sidewalk at about 1:45 a.m.

County Attorney Janelle Kendall says charges in the case are still possible, depending on further investigation.

Police say the incident is still under investigation, and they are asking any witnesses to come forward.

Witness reports at the scene told police McNeely placed the man in a headlock and threw him to the ground, causing him to strike his head on the sidewalk. The injured man was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
