UPDATE: Authorities Release Description of St. Cloud Bank Robbery Suspect
ST. CLOUD -- Authorities are looking for the man who walked into the Liberty Savings Bank in west St. Cloud and robbed the place this morning.
Police got the call from 5803 Ridgewood Road just after 9:00 a.m. Several law enforcement agencies responded to the scene and set up a perimeter, including briefly locking down Westwood Elementary after the robbery.
Police say a man with a light complexion walked into the bank and demanded money. He left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The man was last seen running through the parking lot and was heading southwest.
He is described as being approximately 5'8"-5'10" tall with a husky build. He was wearing a ski mask and winter coat.
A St. Cloud Police dog was called in to help track the robber's scent, but at this time no arrests have been made.
No one was hurt in the incident.
