Two Taken to Hospital After Crash in North St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD - Two people were taken to the hospital on Thursday after a crash in St. Cloud.

Police say the incident happened at about 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of 25th Avenue North and 4th Street North.

A vehicle driven by 58-year-old Raymond Larsen of Sauk Rapids was traveling south on 25th Avenue North approaching 4th Street North. Another vehicle driven by 24-year-old Samantha Sanchez of Sartell tried to cross 24th Avenue North to continue west on 4th Street. Sanchez pulled out in front of Larsen's vehicle, resulting in a collision.

Both Sanchez and her passenger, 23-year-old Melissa Kirchner of Sauk Rapids had non-life threatening injuries and were taken to St. Cloud Hospital. Sanchez was cited for failure to yield right of way.
