NEW LONDON -- Authorities have released the names of the couple killed in a three car crash south of New London. The State Patrol says it happened at Highway 23 and North Shore Road at about 7:30 (last) Wednesday night.

The couple has been identified as 71-year-old Glenyce Gulbranson and 70-year-old Marvin Gulbranson of Spicer.

The state patrol says Gulbranson and another driver, 22-year-old Shelby Davis of Willmar, got out of their vehicles and were talking in the median when a third car driven by 54-year-old Kevin Henslin of Champlin, crashed into them. Marvin Gulbranson was getting out of the vehicle at the time of the crash.

Davis was not hurt and Henslin suffered non-life threatening injuries.
