Two People Hurt In Sartell Crash

SARTELL -- Two people are hurt in a two vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Stearns County around 12:15 p.m.

The incident happened on County Road 1, south of County Road 120 in Le Sauk Township.

The Stearns County Sheriff's office says 29 year-old Samantha Laughery was driving southbound on County Road 1, when she hit an ice patch, lost control and went into oncoming traffic, striking another car.

The driver of the second vehicle was 19 year-old Megan VanHeel.

Laughery was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital for her injuries. Her passenger, 1 year-old Michael Laughery was not hurt.

VanHeel was treated at the scene for her injuries.
