Tire Debris Causes Rollover on I-94 near Melrose

MELROSE - Two Long Prairie women were hurt in a rollover on Interstate 94. The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened at about 4:15 p.m. this (Monday) afternoon near Melrose.

A car driven by 78-year-old Reta Symalla was hit with some tire debris while trying to pass a semi and trailer. The car lost control and rolled in the west bound ditch.

Symalla her passenger, 79-year-old Deloris Symalla, were both taken to Melrose hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
