Enjoy a candlelit program symbolizing the light and hope of humanity this weekend at the 68 Annual Santa Lucia Festival of Lights. You're invited to Salem Lutheran Church Saturday morning to learn more about the legend of Santa Lucia, meet King Tut and learn about his Scandinavian heritage. You can also enjoy a Swedish breakfast following the program. There is no charge to attend, however a free will donation will be accepted. Program starts at 7:00 a.m.
Grab the family for an afternoon of fun at the Winter Wonderland at the Lake George Municipal Complex Saturday. The fun consists of arts and crafts, cookie decorating, a penguin exhibit, hayride around the lake, plus a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Tickets are just $3 per kid and $5 per family, however bring an item for the food shelf and get a $1 off your admission. The fun runs from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Enjoy a night of laughs with some local comedic entertainment in Little Falls this weekend. Great River Arts presents “Is It Too Late To Be Good? A Holiday Comedy Show!” starring Jason Schommer with Ron Lamprecht. The show is full of hilarious stand up comedy with holiday flair, hysterical sketches and musical entertainment by Kelly Cordes. Tickets for the show are only $12. The laughs start on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
The sounds of holiday cheer will echo throughout the St. John's University Great Hall Saturday. The Minnesota Center Chorale are hosting their annual Cabaret Dinner & Concert, "Good Will to All." They will also be joined by the St. Cloud String Quartet, who will play during the dinner hour. A Silent Auction and Social Hour will start at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the concert at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $40.
Enjoy a morning of holiday festive fun at Foley High School Saturday. The Foley National Honor Society are hosting a Breakfast with Santa and Silent Auction starting at 8:00 a.m until 10:30 a.m. The event includes a fun and festive breakfast, photo opportunity with Santa and Mrs. Claus, music, face painting, a variety of crafts, and a silent auction. Cost to attend is $5 with all proceeds going to the Big Brothers and Big Sisters organization.
