The state of Minnesota has plenty to offer despite the Covid-19 pandemic we continue to fight through. Explore Minnesota's Alyssa Hayes joined me on WJON. She outlined options which include cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. Other options include visiting a light display.

Explore Minnesota's Alyssa Hayes joined Jerry Carlson and I on WJON today. Alyssa suggested that Minnesotans can safety view drive-thru holiday light displays.

Despite the pandemic Minnesota is still offering many activities for people to take part in. They include viewing holiday lights both locally in the St. Cloud area and throughout the state. Alyssa Hayes from Explore Minnesota joined me on WJON.

Last week when Jerry Carlson and I talked with Alyssa Hayes from Explore Minnesota we discussed the fall color report and different haunted houses and other haunted place to visit in the state. Because of the snowy weather this week we discussed how Minnesotans may pivot to outdoor snow activities like snow shoeing, and cross country skiing.

Explore Minnesota's Alyssa Hayes joined me on WJON today. She says Central Minnesota and the St. Cloud area are either at peak or past peak for fall colors. Alyssa says if you'd like to see peak fall colors in Minnesota you'll need to drive south and suggested the Red Wing area as a great spot to see some great fall colors along the river.

Explore Minnesota's Alyssa Hayes joined me on WJON today. Fall colors are out in full in some parts of the state. She says extreme northern Minnesota is past peak with some trees seeing leaves falling and looking bare. Alyssa says the St. Cloud area will be at peak within the next couple of weeks while the peak is currently in the Brainerd Lakes area and locations that are similar distance north of St. Cloud.

It is autumn in Minnesota and our trees and temperatures are sure indications. Alyssa Hayes from Explore Minnesota joined me on WJON today. She says some parts of the state are further along into fall than others. Explore Minnesota has their fall color report out.

Alyssa Hayes from Explore Minnesota joined me on WJON today. She says Minnesotans turned to biking, hiking, fishing and golf more than anything else this summer with Covid-19 changing some of our habits. She says many resorts and camp ground also saw an increase in revenue compared to last year.

Explore Minnesota's Alyssa Hayes joined me on WJON today. Alyssa highlighted the scenic byways location in central and north central Minnesota. Locations include the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway. It double-loops through the northern end of the Brainerd Lakes area starting with County Road 11 as it heads east to Breezy Point and Pelican Lake.

Many Minnesotans are turning to exploring Minnesota this summer due to a lack of concerts, city festivals, and sporting events. Alyssa Hayes from Explore Minnesota joined Jerry Carlson and I today on WJON. Alyssa says Minnesotans are taking advantage of the many state parks, trails, and lakes.
